Productions Services
Staccato Films provides services from set security, drivers and data management to office rental and full-service line production inclusive of payrolling, accountancy and applying for the Netherlands Production Incentive (cash rebate). Previous clients include Disney/Hallmark, Lumiere Home Entertainment, Family Affair Films, Isabella Films, Fu Works and Kaliber Film. Services were provided to our esteemed colleagues of Pupkin Film, Phanta Film, Keyfilm and Ministry of Film.
Masterclasses
We provide workshops in Storytelling and Creative Producing for (aspiring) filmmakers and corporations. Clients include The Back Lot, The StoryConnection and Amsterdam Film School. Amongst many others, the managements of Fokker Technologies and Sabic enjoyed the Masterclass Corporate Storytelling at AFS.
Cash rebate
Staccato Films can help international productions apply for a cash rebate on qualifying Dutch expenditures up to 35% for film and high-end TV series. The ‘Netherlands Film Production Incentive’ is managed through the Netherlands Filmfund. Considering to shoot in the Netherlands? On top of the rebate, the country offers a great variety of locations and a superb infrastructure with experienced cast and crew. Coaching
From three decades of experience, Staccato Films also offers individual coaching to emerging filmmakers during development, production and editing in both fiction and documentary. An example is the successful ‘DocuLab Suriname’ project, initiated by
Eddy Wijngaarde with the support the Netherlands Film Academy, Netherlands Filmfund and Netherlands Embassy.
Curating & Consulting
Emjay Rechsteiner advises the Municipality of Utrecht on cultural matters and lectures at film schools, conferences and universities around the world. For EYE Filmmuseum he worked on curating classic films such as Blue Movie, Dark Blood, Spetters, Twice a Woman, Voyeur (Abel) and Wan Pipel. As curator / director of programming for the Royal Netherlands Navy Museum, he commissioned a 3D-film and an immersive XR Experience.
